Impatience, a dangerous thing

Can cause the heart to race and sing

With hastiness, we often err

Frustration building, tempers flare

Take a breath, slow down your pace

Impatience is a harmful race

Patience is a virtue tried and true

A steady hand, a clearer view

Things may not always go our way

But patience helps us to trust and stay

The path may wind and twist and turn

But patience helps us to calmly learn

So pause a while and take a breath

Let the world around you soften and mesh

With patience guiding your every move

You can face any challenge and smoothly groove.
