Innocence of a Child

Upon this earth, a child's eyes do see

A world of wonder, beauty, and delight

Innocence pure, a heart that's ever free

A soul that shines with radiance so bright

Their laughter echoes through the fields and hills

Their joy contagious, spreading far and wide

Their hearts so pure, untouched by worldly ills

Their love so deep, it cannot be denied

Oh, to be like them, so full of grace

To see the world with eyes that are so clear

To live each moment in a sacred space

And hold the ones we love so very dear

The innocence of a child, a precious thing

May we protect it, and let it forever sing
