Fluty Cheeks that Entangles

One thing that is certain is the glow

on your cheeks that entangles.

Take bread away from me if you wish,

take away the air if you must,

But not those cheeks that entangle.

Your delicate cheeks, softer & tender

Do not take away the rose I pray you,

the lance flower that I pluck everyday,

the water that suddenly bursts forth in joy,

the sudden wave of silver born in you,

Always reveals on the peak of your cheeks,

especially when you laugh.

My struggles are harsh & hard I know,

but when your laughter enters

with the jingle smiles of your fluty cheeks,

it rises to the sky seeking me

and it opens for me all the doors of life,

for fun & for merry, for love & for laughter.

I love your pumpkin cheeks my fairy,

I love to see them smile not as in poetry.

If only I can hold the cups of their droplets,

I will be the sooth that can sooth them.

So deny me bread, air, light, spring,

but never those cheeks that enchant me.
